1) Line up all of the numbers by decimals. Each decimal must be directly on top of one another.
2) Look at the first column on the left. Which number has the highest digit? Do some not have any digits in this column? The number with the highest digit is the largest.
3) Look at the next column. Follow Step 2. Continue until you have ordered all of the numbers.
Important Notes:
* If there is no decimal, it exists at the end of your number. For example, “32″ is the same as “32.0″.
* Adding zeros at the end of decimal numbers does not change their value. “41.7″ is equal to “41.70″ or “41.700″.
* Always line up all numbers by decimals before comparing.
* Start at the left when comparing.
